About Pastor Lloyd:

No Exit Lloyd 2

Since the time of my salvation I have had the call to preach and pastor.  This has been evidenced to me through the relationships that God has put in my life.  I believe the Holy Bible is the inerrant word of God, Christ centered and the absolute message of truth and salvation. I know the church needs a pastor to preach the Gospel in truth with grace.  It is my belief that the church needs a pastor to counsel Christians in these trying times with love and biblical truth.  The apostle Paul said this, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher” (Rom. 10:14)?  By the grace of God, I must do my best to preach the Gospel of Christ.
Furthermore, the Bible clearly states that lives are at stake.  The Gospel of Mark ever so poignantly says, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:15-16).  As a result, my mission is to live out a life that glorifies God Almighty.  In fact, I pray that as long as I am physically able, God will use me to share the love of Christ with others in whatever manner, place, or time He has chosen for me.

The past several months have been a whirlwind of activity. God has used me at children’s camp, youth camp, VBS, and soon a wedding. He has allowed me to wear many hats: Pastor, Youth Pastor, Counselor, Marriage counselor, Discipleship, and Evangelist. Through all of this, and even though it was at times great fun and great distress, I began to physically get tired and emotionally depleted, yet I continued on. I wasn’t sure if any of the work was going to show any fruit. So, I prayed through the whole process. My prayer was that God be glorified, that He would show me something awesome; He did!

God has affected the lives of several youth to grow closer to Him and seek His will for their life. He has shown how the body of Christ can lovingly work together and share the Gospel. And the greatest of all, in the past two Sunday services, two people have surrendered to Christ and accepted Him as their Lord and Savior.

I say all this, because if you let Him, God will use you and you ... See more
